The Secret About Time

As someone with a love a all things suspense and romance, this book was right up my alley. Despite having some plot that was a tad bit premature, the consistent clues and secrets hinting at the anti-aging kept me engaged in what was to come. Looking forward to seeing what is to come from this author.

As a born and raised New Englander and a teacher, I appreciated the realism of the setting in a small island town and the school. While I wish there was some variety in vocabulary and some elements seemed a little early in the plot, I enjoyed the characters and their romantic development very much. The forbidden teacher/principal vibes made the story engaging, and the constant secrets of both characters kept me reading to find out what they were hiding from the other. Overall, a unique take on the Fountain of Youth in a setting that is near and dear to my own heart, and I would highly recommend this for fans of that small town vibe with a secret twist!

Paranormal romance is right up my alley and this story did not disappoint. Can't wait to read the rest of it!

What a fresh, refreshing take on the fountain of youth! I was fortunate to be "stuck" on a plane ride with this book - by the end of the five hours, my seatmates were reading it with me :)

This story is a great fresh take on the Fountain of Youth with a cast of characters that grab you, and incites anticipation for more. Austin is dashing and charming, and Caitlyn is tough and healing from recent tragedies. Their romance makes them all the sweeter. Risk of discovery of the island’s secret leads to edge-of-your-seat tension and a climactic moment that will leave you hooked and ready for the next book!

This is the kind of original story I love because it's not your normal romantic setting, but still classic in every way. I would love to read more stories set in this world.
