In the vast, Nevada desert, Riann stands at a crossroads—literally and metaphorically. A tenured art professor, she’s spent years crafting safe, predictable work, until a forgotten sculpture by reclusive artist Mikal awakens something primal within her. Dreams of submission and creation haunt her nights, driving her across three states to find the man who shaped the stone—and perhaps her own buried desires.
