Out in the Cold

Kane is just heading out for his morning run when he spots something weird outside his property. What he at first thinks is a bunch of rags turns out to be a person. A person who very much needs his help. A fellow shifter, no less. When his visitor, Paul, tells his story, Kane is horrified and confused. But he does know one thing for sure - he's in a position to stop this sort of thing from ever happening to Paul again. Such a small, quick thing - and yet it could turn out to change Kane's life forever. Is it a risk he's willing to take?
