The Love Collection rewards how many stories you finish. Every completed story earns points, 1 point for a free story, 2 points for a paid story. There are five milestones: 5, 21, 55, 89 and 144 points.

Each milestone is a Fibonacci number, moving you closer to phi φ, the golden ratio of love that recurs in nature, in art, and in the best stories.

Weekly Reading Streaks reward how often you show up. Read 30 minutes cumulative a week, every week, at 4, 8, 16, 26 and 52 weeks.

The moment you cross a milestone, your O Bookmark dashboard updates and you get a system notification. You'll also get an email from RealHumans@theoreads.com, and if it's your first one we'll prompt you for a shipping address.

Your bookmark goes into that week's print queue and ships the following week. You'll get a second email, your bookmark is on its way, when it ships.

A story counts when you reach the end — 100% of the main story content. The moment the end-of-story prompt appears (asking if you'd recommend it and what you felt), you've completed it.

Paid stories count 2x towards points earned. Free stories count 1x.

Re-reads don't add to your count. A story you've already finished won't count a second time if you come back to it.

This includes your first paid story that's on us.

You get two streak freezes every quarter, free and automatic. If you miss a week of reading, a freeze absorbs it silently — your streak stays alive and we'll tell you after the fact.

If you're out of freezes and miss a week, the streak resets to zero. No guilt, no penalty — start fresh whenever you're ready. Freezes are never sold.

Each time you earn a bookmark, you'll be prompted via email to update your shipping address. It's also editable any time from the Shipping Address field on the top right of your O Bookmark dashboard.

If the address is incorrect and the bookmark is returned, it is not our policy to reship to the correct address, due to shipping and material costs incurred.

We only use your address for shipping bookmarks. Your real name is stored privately and never shown publicly. Only your handle is ever visible.

Bookmarks ship in weekly batches, with each week's batch shipping out the following week. Most US addresses see them within 3–5 business days after that.
