Aaron argued with himself all day that Saturday.

He didn’t want to go at all. But he wanted to be with Jeremy. So he swallowed his pride, his fears, and his nerves, and convinced Daisy not to head to the party early to hang out with her boyfriend, but to show up with him later on that evening. He thought she would argue against it, and then he would have a reason not to go.

But she didn’t. Daisy happily agreed to go with him and sent Cups a quick text on why she was showing up after 10 p.m. instead of 8, and implored him not to tell the other Omegas, that it was going to be a surprise. So after digging through his entire wardrobe, he decided on a cream long-sleeved thermal shirt, blue jeans, and brown Butte UGG’s with the cream lining. In the last minute, he threw a blue Barton University fitted hat, and followed Daisy across campus to G-Spot Row.

Aaron walked through the front doors of the Omega Pi Epsilon house fashionably late, hoping that no one would notice since it was crowded and the music was loud. He couldn’t remember the last time he walked through the front doors of OPE. Probably that fateful night, he thought as anxiety rose in his chest. But he tried to ignore it.
